CITY HALL – SZCZECIN – INSTALLATION OF THE VAS IVO AND SOUND SYSTEM
The building was built in 1927 to house the main administrative office of the Pomeranian Province. The land on which the office stands was purchased from commercial advisor Martin Quistorp. The facility consists of three parts: the central, main office building and the eastern and western wings added in subsequent years, which surround a spacious courtyard. In the years 1933 - 1945, the Nazi authorities of the NSDAP were based here. After the war, it was the seat of the Municipal Board and the Municipal National Council, then the seat of the Presidium of the Municipal National Council, the seat of the Municipal Office and the Municipal National Council, and since 1990 the seat of the Szczecin City Hall.
