Apart from the obvious issue of age and wear of existing school radios, their imperfections and the awareness of the problem of communication quality and failure rate, our engineers noticed a huge demand for sound systems with functionalities developed specifically for the needs of educational and sports facilities. Polish law does not usually require the use of sound warning systems in public facilities depending on the nature of the facility, but only on the number of people the facility can accommodate.
However, this does not change the fact that the safety of children, students and teachers is the most important to us and this is the basic assumption of our work on sound systems in such facilities.
The need for fluent communication with students, teachers and employees of educational institutions is obvious. However, we do not always notice how much a professional, multi-functional sound system can give us. INTEGRATION OF VAS SYSTEMS – EXAMPLE MODULES:
WAA card – providing connection of an external audio source to the VAS. Such a source may be an audio player, but also a TV or projector, which will allow the image to be synchronized with the sound from the speakers included in the VAS.
Integration of the VAS IVO system with the BMS system - such a connection is implemented using the RS-485 data transmission standard. The signal input needed for such a connection is located on the back of each VAS central controller (KG-ETH or KG-ETH-MAR).
SENDING MESSAGES USING VAS:
WAA card - connecting a microphone as an external source
KKO card, enabling the connection of one or several wide range of microphones (MI, MA and MAR series) dedicated to the VAS IVO system.
This solution usually works better than the WAA card, because the microphones allow you to deliver a message only to the selected zone or zones, which is not possible when using microphones from other manufacturers. Additionally, each of the MI, MA and MAR series microphones has the ability to connect an external audio source, which allows us to control the playback of background music from the microphone.
